Hospice care provides for all the needs of the patient and family including physical comfort and emotional and spiritual support. The importance of spiritual care varies with each individual. Some may value being part of an organized religion while others focus on the meaning of their lives, their relationships, and other issues, which they value.
If requested by the patient and/or family, Wings of Hope spiritual care staff offer support either through direct contact, through regional chaplains located in each area of Allegan County, or through the patient's preferred church community and clergy.
Wings of Hope is not connected with any religious group but respects the beliefs and traditions of each patient and family we serve.
